Supplier Code of Conduct

At RANNG, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and ethical conduct. This Code outlines the principles and behaviors we expect our suppliers and partners to share, ensuring our global operations are rooted in mutual respect, accountability, and professional excellence.

Home     Legal and Compliance

Effective Date: 01/07/2025

1. Purpose and Scope

This Supplier Code of Conduct ("Code") sets the minimum standards RBV Lifestyle Private Limited, trading as RANNG ("RANNG," "we," "us"), requires of every supplier, subcontractor, and business partner that provides fabric, trims, components, manufacturing, or other services used in RANNG's products ("Supplier," "you"). Suppliers must comply with this Code and applicable law throughout their own operations and supply chain, including any subcontractors they engage on RANNG's behalf.

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Suppliers must comply with all applicable labour, health and safety, environmental, customs, trade, and data protection laws in the jurisdictions where they operate. Where local law and this Code set different standards, the Supplier must follow whichever is stricter.

3. Human Rights and Labour Standards

3.1 Forced Labour

Suppliers must not use forced, bonded, indentured, or trafficked labour in any form, and must not withhold worker identity documents or charge workers recruitment fees.

3.2 Child Labour

Suppliers must not employ anyone below the legal minimum working age in their jurisdiction. Where young workers are legally employed, they must be protected from hazardous conditions and night work.

3.3 Wages, Benefits, and Working Hours

Suppliers must pay at least the legal minimum wage or the prevailing industry benchmark — whichever is higher — provide all legally mandated benefits, and keep working hours within legal limits, with any overtime voluntary and properly compensated.

3.4 Non-Discrimination

Suppliers must provide a workplace free of discrimination and harassment based on gender, age, disability, ethnicity, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

3.5 Freedom of Association

Suppliers must respect workers' lawful rights to organise and bargain collectively, without retaliation.

4. Health, Safety, and Worker Welfare

Suppliers must maintain safe working conditions consistent with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) principles, including hazard controls, fire safety systems, properly maintained machinery, appropriate personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, potable water, and adequate ergonomics. Where Suppliers provide worker dormitories, these must meet applicable safety standards.

5. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers must comply with applicable environmental laws and maintain reasonable controls for chemical management, wastewater treatment, air emissions, waste reduction, and energy and water efficiency. Where relevant to the materials supplied, RANNG expects alignment with recognised standards such as GOTS, OEKO-TEX®, or ISO 14001, and compliance with EU REACH restrictions on regulated substances for goods destined for the EU market.

6. Ethical Business Conduct

6.1 Anti-Bribery and Corruption

Suppliers must not offer, give, or accept bribes or facilitation payments in connection with RANNG business.

6.2 Gifts and Hospitality

Any gifts or hospitality offered in connection with the business relationship must be modest, transparent, and not intended to influence a business decision.

6.3 Conflicts of Interest

Suppliers must disclose any personal or financial relationship between their staff and RANNG staff that could influence business decisions.

6.4 Fair Competition

Suppliers must comply with applicable competition and anti-trust law in their dealings with RANNG and other parties.

7. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Suppliers must protect confidential information and any personal data shared by RANNG or collected on RANNG's behalf, and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard it, consistent with RANNG's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (including GDPR for data relating to EU individuals).

8. Quality and Product Integrity

Suppliers must meet the specifications and quality standards agreed for each order, inspected against Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) as specified in the relevant purchase order. Suppliers must not use counterfeit materials, make unauthorised substitutions, or mislabel goods, and must maintain traceability records sufficient to identify the origin of materials used in RANNG orders.

9. Management Systems and Documentation

Suppliers are expected to maintain management systems proportionate to their size and risk profile — including written policies, worker training, recordkeeping, a grievance mechanism, and corrective action processes — and to provide evidence of compliance with this Code upon RANNG's reasonable request.

10. Audits, Corrective Actions, and Termination

RANNG, or a third party acting on RANNG's behalf, may conduct announced or unannounced audits of a Supplier's compliance with this Code, by questionnaire, document review, or site assessment (including SMETA 2-Pillar or equivalent social audits). Where an audit finds a violation, RANNG may require a corrective action plan within a reasonable timeframe. Serious or repeated violations — including forced or child labour, or falsified audit records — may result in immediate suspension or termination of the business relationship. Audit and compliance queries should be directed to COMPLIANCE CONTACT.

11. Reporting Concerns

Suppliers must provide their own workers with a grievance mechanism to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. Concerns about a Supplier's compliance with this Code — from the Supplier's own staff or others — can also be raised directly with RANNG at COMPLIANCE / WHISTLEBLOWING CONTACT

12. Supplier Acknowledgement

By signing the attached acknowledgment, the Supplier confirms it has read, understood, and agrees to comply with this Supplier Code of Conduct, and to require the same of any subcontractors engaged in fulfilling RANNG orders.
