AV013 SAFIRA1 Circular Hostess Set
SAFIRA1 is a faithful, unbranded technical reconstruction of a recognised warm-sand and deep-red long-haul cabin uniform. It retains the tailored pinstripe jacket, four-pleat skirt, pillbox hat and chiffon scarf architecture while excluding airline logos, calligraphy and protected insignia. Commercial production using a client's exact colours, marks or retired garments requires written rights-holder approval.

Circular use of retired uniform textiles
- Retired garments must enter a controlled, documented collection stream with client authorization and secure removal of all identity elements.
- Intact, security-cleared panels can be repurposed into internal document sleeves, travel organizers or training accessories.
- Clean wool-polyester suiting can be mechanically opened into recovered fibre. A practical development starting point is 15% to 30% recovered uniform fibre blended with certified recycled polyester and new wool, subject to spinning and performance trials.
- Recovered fibre is best introduced first into non-visible reinforcement felts, interlinings, accessory fabrics or selected lining structures before being approved for the outer shell.
- Polyester linings, piping and chiffon can enter fibre-to-fibre recycling only after composition verification, trim removal and recycler acceptance.
- Mono-material polyester components are preferred for future editions because they improve chemical-recycling compatibility.
- Leather accessories can be repaired, component-harvested or converted into bonded-leather panels where local processing permits.
- Metal hardware, zips and buttons should be separated for conventional material recovery.
- Fibre origin, batch mass and final destination should be recorded through RFID or a Digital Product Passport.
- Recycled-content percentages must be verified through mass-balance records and supplier certification. Actual recovery yield cannot be stated until the retired garments are composition-tested.
